Why you have to have a name for yourself, for your country and for our planet !!

It seems you have read only Bible, the book with words of Jesus. You have no idea of what other religion says. If we can make one religion taking all the best parts of each religion then we can make one religion for the world.

But tell me even if we do that what would be the benefit !
Will it stop terrorism ! Will it stop wars between two countries !!
No it would not stop that. They will have some other excuse for fighting.

If you stated that you follow God and the teaching of Jesus Christ, you pray and worship the Trinity, and someone said you are not a Christian, then they lied to you, and are judging you. Why would you listen to such nonsense?
I study in the manuscripts, learned in the Biblical languages, live every minute of my life with Christ in it, BUT:
I do not have any religion of name, unless you want to call me "non-denominational".
I do not go to any of the churches, not in
over 35 years. My relationship is with God, not with some priest. God is our heavenly Father, the closest relative we've got, and I certainly do not need a pastor or priest to speak to my own Father. You are doing
just fine; remember: the downfall of man will be his lack of knowledge. Most of those who sit in a church pew week after week do
not learn anything with regard to Gods Word. They sure learn about the church's rules and traditions, though. They have enough time for those. I'm quite happy to stay the heck out of the churches.

Religion just means you believe in a higher power than yourself. That doesn't mean you believe in Jesus. Also religion is Being more on the "This is the way we do it" as in carnality minded people. Like going to church every Sunday just because that is good to do. But it is actually about being filled with power and hearing the Word of God to go out to be a testimony or a witness to others.

People who tell a good person that they're going to hell unless they do EXACTLY what that person says aren't credible and you shouldn't waste a single moment of your preciuos life worrying about their non sense. The God I know would never put a good person in hell along with mass killers and rapists. My God is much more reasonable than that. You just keep doing what your doing, b/c they're wrong to jugde, hate and spread hate and intolerance, not you.

It is between the individual and "God". Can't claim it's a relationship if I'm inviting total strangers to be a part of it... that's not a relationship. (And I have yet to come up with a good name for my relationship with my Husband... should we use our last name as the label? Or come up with something else? *wink*)

I'm surprised at how many in Mainstream that seem to think it's their business what kind of relationship others have. I certainly wouldn't want a total stranger coming into my bedroom during an intimate moment and trying to tell me where I am doing something wrong or they don't like what I'm doing, etc.... It's not up to them. They are not a part of it AT ALL. Sharing information/beliefs, etc doesn't mean I'm inviting that person in to evaluate my beliefs.

I don't need a name for my religion. I believe in God and His Son, Jesus. However, the Bible tells us that we are to fellowship with our brothers and sisters. To do that, one must attend congregations of believers. Those are broken up into groups with names. Even non-denominational has become a named group.

I do appreciate that groups put out statements of faith, what they believe in, so that I can consciously avoid groups with which I have a serious problem.

God bless.

Jesus is the only way to Heaven. We are all sinners and God sent Jesus to die on the cross for us so that our sins may be forgiven. Having faith, following, and trusting in God's son Jesus makes us righteous in the eyes of god.

If Jesus Christ has no name, its going to be difficult to identify with him.

it's just a way to communicate easily (but often not as clearly) what your beleifs are. that is why i was trying to find a 'label' for my beleifs (well, and i was looking for more things to research that were similar) as i had not found one that encompased it all (or even a convenient combo). one's path is highly individual, and as long as you find peace & harm none, then i'd guess it's the right one for you, but no one but you has the right to truly judge that.

Because people love to be secure in their identity and belong to a group.
