Peoples opininon vary on this subject, the vet usually says 2 weeks after there 2nd jab but with my own dogs i took them out about 5/6days after,as socilisation is so important i was like you desperate to get them out and about.Go with how you feel your dog has had the 2nd jab so theres little chance of catching any illnesses.Good luck.

I left it 5 days, then kept my pup to the pavements in my not so busy road (without sniffing mess or posts etc) for another week before taking to busy parks. my road has only a few dogs in it, this gave us chance to do some lead training and a change of scenery and a chance to meet with the neighbours. I tried to take her out around the time that children were coming home from school, this got her socialised with kids of all ages, pushchairs, bikes skateboards, screams, cries and yells ( and that was the parents.... lol ) and it also got her used to her immediate neighbourhood.

vets usually recommends about a week, although it's safe immediately after as long as it doesn;t go near other dogs mess. They also recommend letting the pup out quickly and introducing it to loads of things eg- buses, cars, people, busy places, other dogs, kids etc, as dogs take in everything during their first 12 weeks of life, if you leave it any longer you run the risk of your dos being scared, barking and being jumpy at various things. And keep up good training, it's worth it in the end. good luck

It depends on the vaccination the vet uses, some say 1 week and some 2. I would ask your vet to be certain.

I waited 2 weeks with my cavvies

It is reasonably safe to take your puppy out right now, but please keep him away from any area where there is poop from other dogs, like a dog run in a community park. Make sure to keep him at least a few inches from any unknown dogs and not to lick or be licked by them. Many parasites are passed through saliva in addition to feces. I would briefly take him out let him run with you for a while, but then bring him home and thoroughly wash his paws with lots of warm running water and a mild soap or puppy shampoo.
