Yes, I do! Not only that, I believe that there are going to be more people in Hell than in Heaven. It's a matter of physics. Heaven is described in the NT as 'the city that lieth foursquare", then goes into detail about it's overall size and construction. In today's conversions, Heaven will be approximately 1,500 miles square. That's half the size of the continental US! That's room for a LOT of people! But, the only description I've ever seen in the Word about the SIZE of Hell is in the OT where it says, "And Hell hath ENLARGED her mouth BEYOND MEASURE." Imagine that! A place so large that human methods cannot measure it! We can measure Heaven based on what we're told about it, but CANNOT measure how large Hell will be! That, in a nutshell, is what leads me to believe that Heaven and hell both exist, but that Hell unfortunately will have a WHOLE LOT more residents!

Yes, if Heaven and Hell are defined as illusions of the mind. A person can be in heaven or hell right here on earth depending upon their frame of mind and references.

Padre Pio was once told by a famous actress - 'I don't believe in Hell' - Padre Pio said to her 'You will when you get there'. As for heaven . Believe. We are on this planet for an average 70 years (generation). Can you imagine being privy to doing all the things you like (plus more) for ever - Ah pure heaven

God loves all of his children. Hell is a necessary place that people who have not repented of their sins will go to suffer for them. It is not a permanent place for them. At the final judgment when we all will be resurrected we will all go on to glorious places. Some more glorious than others.

I think it would be interesting to discuss more why sending people to Hell would be necessary by a loving God.

That is more or less a summary. Much more detail is available.

Yes to both.

Both are described very well.

Here is why I believe.

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

Kind of. I believe that there are different spiritual planes where you have to come to terms with anything you did in your life here that was bad, and then once you have recognised that you move on. That would explain why the ghosts you get in places are normally angry - they haven't got over it. But not heaven and hell as such.
