He warns us from asking a lot of useless questions, which will lead us to be doomed.

I guess yahoo Q&A wouldn't like that.

I think what you're asking is what does this convey, am I right?

However, al Bukhari 68 is something different to what you have there and there's no Hadith that's 6867, I'm afraid!

That's the Hadith on the leadership of the prayer by Umm Waraqa, or the question of leadership of the Prayers by women.

Pax vobiscum, pax dominic.

HAHAHAHAHA...sorry bro.....are you saying the prophet who asks us to seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave...would want us to not ask question...?!!?......Allah has asked us to even question Islam....He challenges us to come up with an alternative to the quran just as splendid as the original one....He has said there is a cure for everything(diseases) on earth excpet death and old age.....so how can we do those mentioned above without asking questions...?!!?

Edit : yep i guess he did say don't ask stupid questions.....coz he has said i remember hearing from a hadith.....if you cannot say something smart(normal)...don't talk......dat equals to...if you have nothing to add don't say anything....better to be silent than sound stupid.....beacuse that could lead to unnessary confusions.....especially in regards to religion.

Pl go to Yahoo/Answers blog. There, question like yours are debated. It is true that some questions and some answers are not from sober, mature persons. Ignore such ones. Confine to merits only. Gaining points is pointless when even the next door neighbor does not know your identity.

i am sure you read the quran that said that religion or faith cannot be forced into one's heart or soul.

How about some other hadiths?

Regarding snakes and Muslims, keeping a snake as a pet is not permissible. Rasulullah Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam has commanded the killing of snakes. (Hadith of Bukhari and Muslim). Mirqat Vol. 7 Pg: 712 [Maktaba Haqqaaniyya]

Rasulullah Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam has also discouraged keeping dogs as pets (Mirqaat Vol. 7 Pg. 697) To keep harmful animals or animals deemed impure in the Shariah eg. pigs , as pets would not be permissible.

Other animals such as cats, sheep, goats, birds, fish etc. are permissible to keep as pets.

"There are Hadiths (Islamic traditions attributed to Mohammed) regarding our struggle against the Jews. And it is given: 'The day of resurrection will not arrive until the Muslims make war against the Jews and kill them, and until a Jew hiding behind a rock and tree, and the rock and tree will say: 'Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!' This Hadith clarifies to us the characteristics of the campaign between us and the Jews. The tree and the rock do not say 'Oh, Palestinian,' 'Oh Arab,' or 'Oh resident of the Middle East.' Rather they say: 'Oh, Muslim, Servant of Allah.'" (Palestinian TV, March 30, 2001)

And so, those radicals must be stopped at all costs. They wish to Islamize the western world and will stop at nothing, including murder of innocent men, women and children.

Anyone trying to get someone to believe what they say will tell them not to ask questions.

That's obvious
