I'm a Humanist, I believe in life during life. No one alive knows with absolute certain what, if anything, happens after death, but all sound evidence indicates that consciousness ends when the brain dies.
This is our time. Make the best of it.

I do believe in life after death and I would have to disagree with paladin. Paladin says that no one alive knows with certainty that there is life after death but as Christians we know. Some may say that we only believe but I know the Bible to be truth and it tells us that the soul lives on in heaven.

The concept of life after death is a dangerous one, as it makes some people not care much about what is going on in life.
Philosophically I prefer the concept of a life after death since it is depressing to to think that my experiences will be lost - scientifically I cannot justify it. Life is full of contradictions, huh ?

Sure. Our bodies are like a placenta and we have an energy sac around us. A child in the womb cannot even image the coming life ahead, just like we cannot imagine the next dimension after physical death.
Organized religions, except for Buddhism, are just a tad off trying to describe that next level though.

Yebo! I believe in God and Jesus Christ and therefore Heaven, but I don't believe that Heaven exists yet. My understanding of the Bible is that when Jesus comes again to judge the world, he will choose His people and then create Heaven for them. I believe that until that time comes, the dead are in the spirit world and I haven't ruled out the possibilty of some spirits coming back to live another bodily life...

Until I lost both of my parents I did not believe in life after death. I thought those who claimed as much were promoting special interest or just crazy. But now I KNOW..........there are other realms in this world then the one we are in, and the spirit does continue on.

I'm actually not certain.
If I was alive previously (in another form, in another incarnation, whatever), I don't remember it.
What I do know is this; things grow, and they mature, and they decline, and they die, and they change into something else.
And this (in the words of George Bernard Shaw):
This is the one true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. .......
I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. .......
I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no `brief candle' to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.

Yes there is, here in full!
The Word of God teaches that there is an eternal God who exists, He is not subject to time. Human beings, on the other hand, are subject to time. Each of us is limited to a few short years here upon the earth.
Must Choose
While we are here upon the earth we must choose whom we will serve. We can either believe the promises of the living God or reject those promises. Choice brings consequences. The choices we make in time determine where we will spend eternity.
We Can Know!
The Bible says that we can know that we will go to heaven when we die.
The one who has the Son has life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life (1 John 5:12,13).
Eternal life is something that belongs to believers only. Though unbelievers will exist for eternity, they do not have eternal life. They are in a state of eternal separation, or eternal death.
Already Have
The possession of eternal life is something believers presently possess. Jesus said.
Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life, and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life (John 5:24).
Knowing A Person
According to the Bible, eternal life is a relationship with a person - Jesus Christ.
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent (John 17:3)
This eternal life began the moment one enters into a relationship with Christ.
Paul
Paul said he knew in whom he had believed.
That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day (2 Timothy 1:12).
Summary
The good news is that we can know that we have eternal life. Trusting Christ as Savior provides the assurance that life everlasting is ours. As soon as we make the decision for Christ as our Savior, we have eternal life. This is the promise of God's Word.

The question itself is a bind.
You are awareness, but when you said life - what do you mean by life? Is it your awareness or your body?
Awareness was never born, so it has no death.
So did you imply the body...but YOU are not your body. The body is born and it dies, but it is merely dropping the mortal shell. You still exist.
The question is not phrased correctly.

YES. Surely the life cannot end after death, the day of judgement will cause the rise of all creation, where they will be judged for they have sowed on earth.
Gods creation is not without a high serious purpose. it is not created in vain, or for mere play or sport. As far as man is concerned, the highest issues for him hang on his/her behaviour in life. Life is real and the grave is not its Goal.
Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the day of judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.
Then contemplate( O man) the memorials of allahs mercy ! How he gives life to the earth after its death: verily the same will give life to the men who are dead: for he has power over all things.
Or (bethink thee of) the like of him who, passing by a township which had fallen into utter ruin, exclaimed: How shall Allah give this township life after its death? And Allah made him die a hundred years, then brought him back to life. He said: How long hast thou tarried? (The man) said: I have tarried a day or part of a day. (He) said: Nay, but thou hast tarried for a hundred years. Just look at thy food and drink which have rotted! Look at thine ***! And, that We may make thee a token unto mankind, look at the bones, how We adjust them and then cover them with flesh! And when (the matter) became clear unto him, he said: I know now that Allah is Able to do all things.
Gibraeel's (AS) Impression of Heaven The Prophet of Allah (SAW) said: When Allah Almighty created the heaven
and the hell, He asked Gibraeel (AS) to go and take a look at what He has prepared for believers in the Heaven. Gibraeel (AS) went and had a look at what was there in the Heaven, and then he came back and expressed himself thus: By Your Dignity! Whoever will hear of this Heaven will certainly strive for it. Then it was said that the road to the heaven is littered with hardships, and Gibraeel was asked to take another look at the Heaven.
He came back and said, "By Your Dignity I am afraid that nobody will be able to enter it. (Tirmizee)
This means that the heaven is such a magnificent place that whoever knew of it would certainly strive for it, but when Allah Almighty ordained that the Heaven lies in facing trials and tribulations, Gibraeel (AS) thought that nobody might be able to enter it.
