The question is based on at least 2 assumptions, both of which I do not necessarily grant as logical or true.
1. God is subordinate to time. Christian theology (or any monotheistic theology for the most part) would reject the notion that God is subordinate to time, and would place him outside of a time. Time is tied to space and the material universe which God is not. Therefore God would not change as a function of linear time, as he is not PART of linear time.
2. God has a "mental state" that is similar enough to that of humans for this to be a valid analogy, i.e. static at a snapshot, but dynamic in real time. I think that this is likely to be an incorrect analogy.

Anyone who's read the Old Testament and New Testament knows that the statement "God is unchanging" is a crock. He went from being a smiteful tyrant to being an ok dude over the course of becoming Mary's baby daddy. No one changes that much when they have a kid, and if they do they don't claim to be unchanging.

The answer is found in understanding the difference between the nature of God and the nature of the world. God's nature does not change. He is always the same, always consistent, always true, etc. The world, on the other hand, is separate from God. It is his creation and it does not share in his nature. Since it is different and separate from God, it is not logically necessary that the world be unchanging.
We can also see that God is a God of order since the world has order. We can see that God is wise since that order provides sustenance for the created order. We can see the incredible knowledge of God in the creation of the variety and complexity of the different animals. We can see that the world did not come into existence by itself and we can look at the beauty of a sunset and realize that God quality of beauty. It is these kinds of things that help us to see the attributes of God in creation.

I dont think you understand the concept of god. God does not think. Everthing and everyone is a part of 'god' God is the sum of all energy. There is no such thing as the 'self' it is an illusion and so is time. Everything is now...There cannot be a beginning to existance

God is not confined by time, so what does that matter? And FYI, God can't do EVERYTHING. He cannot sin, He cannot stop being God, and He cannot contradict Himself. That being said, no one can completely understand God... if you try, you will wind up under your chair, mumbling the greek alphabet ;) So go take a coffee break and don't worry about God :P

The bible tells us not to think or question God. We are simply supposed to believe. To much thinking will lead you to Satan and hell. If god doesn't think we should follow God's example ourselves.

Why judge an omnipitant God by our earthly abilities? God can do anything and everything. Way beyond our abilty to understand.

He can do everything - You are looking at this situation from a human point of view - We are NOT as superior and we do not have the knowledge and capability of GOD our father
