Has anyone had language students stay with them in the uk? what it is like and how much was it paid?

I did, but a long time ago, when my children were at school. It was good fun, a big responsibility and hard work. Some of them are picky eaters, some will eat you out of house & home. It never paid much-if you're thinking of doing it for the money-don't.

Dunno how well it pays but when I was a kid we had a German student stay with us and all I can remember is him saying "Vot is ziz asshol" my god he was annoying!
