i'll be going to visit california (aneheim and mcdermot) this june and stay there for just a week and to make my vacation worth while i would like tour around and may you guys give some website and places where i could visit (and how to get there without being lost :))..

Others have given you suggestions about what to see / do in Anaheim. When you go to visit your friend, who lives on McDermott STREET in Reseda, ask them. They live there, they should know what there is to do there.

The good news is you have plenty of time to figure out where you want to go...I would check with Orange County and Los Angeles County Chambers of Commerce websites....Sorry I can't help you with McDermot...don't know what that is, so I am already lost there...BTW there are some places in metro L.A. where you definitely do not want to get "lost" in so be a little careful.....Good Luck and have a great trip...
LOL nope Chieromancer I don't have a McDermot on my list...the only McDermot I can find in LA. is a street in Reseda

The OC Chamber's web site is OK, but if you want a better web site about Anaheim, check out Tripadvisor: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Travel-g29092-s1/Anaheim:California:Inside.html
It is for travelers BY travelers. I live about 8 miles from Anaheim, and I go to Disneyland about once per week for one thing or another (annual passholder, so we go on dates, etc.), so I'm familiar with the area. Tripadvisor does a good job of informing you of what's good and what's not.
