If Heaven is outside time, then it can't change and therefore anyone who ever "goes" to Heaven must have always been there, even before they were born. If they were not always there, Heaven must change over time. If people are always there, it means that people have no option whether they are saved or not. They are either already saved or already damned.

If Heaven is not outside time but god is, then how can it be said that you are WITH God any more than you are now?

Eternal, unchanging, seeing all past and future events simultaneously. Something like that.

In order to change, you need to be different at time B than you are at time A. If time doesn't pass, you can't get from time A to time B and so you can't change.

Interesting philosophical question.
Since Christians believe God created Heaven at some point in time, then it cannot be outside of time.

I'm not sure how God is more in Heaven than on earth.

SuperBob: Change can only occur over time. To be outside of time means changes cannot happen; there are no causes and no effects, no developments.

I think it is outside time. How do you jump from outside time to unchangeable?

Don't really follow the logic in why someone must have always been there.

Your measurement of change includes time. I don't think then that time is necessary for change. 'Eternity' is not only an attempt to describe infinite time - going on forever - but also the idea of being outside of time. If possible, being outside of time is a state un-influenced by time as I understand time.

It's true we humans use time as a measurement to make sense of change...but does that mean that change cannot exist without the measurement of time?
