i think that would depend on how you died.

for instance, if you died because you tripped while running with the bulls in Spain and were stampeded and gored by an angry 2000 lb bull - odds are that there will be some element of pain involved.

but, if you died in your sleep while dreaming about being on the beach in Bora Bora with Carmen Electra....chances are - no pain...

NO, he does not feel any pain, death is just opposite of life, besides the bible teaches that, the dead are conscious of nothing at all, their love, hate, and wisdom stop functioning at death.What makes a soul is the dust from the ground and the breath of live from Jehovah,so at death both separate, the dust returns to the ground while the spirit returns to the true God who gave it, in the sense that the future life of that person depends on God, by means of a Resurrection

When someone is in the process of dying they either feel nothing or everything.The moment of death I have never seen anyone with a painful look.But that might depend on how they die.The ppl I have been with when they died had usually been elderly or dying from cancer.

Death itself is likened to a deep sleep in the Bible.
Eccl.9:5 states:"For the living are conscious that they will die but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all"
When we die we cease to exist.So no there is no pain.There is nothing.We do however remain in God's memory awaiting a resurrection.(Acts.24:16)
The concept of a immortal soul is not a Bible teaching.

I guess this depends upon your religious belief. During the process of dying....I would say yes (common sense). Afterward if you go to "heaven" according to Christian thought, you will no longer feel pain or sadness (there are no tears in heaven). If you go to "hell" according to Christian thought, yes you will feel pain for eternity.

If somebody is dead he will know nothing. He will lost his knowledge on everything, but if he is only beginning to die, he is suffering pains on his body while breathing. He will try to regain his breathing but if he cease to breath that is the time he will lost everything in his life and everything is no more to him and will return to dust when buried on the ground 7 feet below.

Pst - None die (none perish) in -> "us-ward".
http://www.godshew.org/Usward.htm

Get it right: all right and no left behind at all.
It's been AD->only goes one way for 2000 yrs.
Bwd <-BC is a "draw back", unto "perdition".
(extinction) them-ward <-> us-ward (salvation)

The Lord "is": "l-o-n-g-suffering" -> to "us-ward",
so that 'none perish' by "all come to repentance":
is to be accounted as "salvation" (not extinction).
The Lord is "NOT willing that any should perish"!
Will of God: "I will have mercy and not saacrifice"!
Pst - check out the "salvation" link on above web

"The God of all comfort" = no discomfort at all.

LIGHT shineth in darkness, till it's "no darkness at all".

POINT: "Grace" is neither of two "law"s in Mt 22 & Rom 8.

More Excellent: neither broadmindead nor narrowmindead.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

No. Eccl. 9:5: "The dead are conscious of nothing at all."

Ps. 146:4 says that when a person dies, "his thouhts do perish."

He may feel pain as he is dying. But once dead, the soul (breath) - life source - leaves the body. The dead feel nothing, and are conscious of nothing. (Ecclesiastes 9:5,10).

Depends on what kills him.
If he died of testicle electrocution I suspect he'd feel pain.
No pain after he's dead obviously. Central nervous system stops working.
