I believe you're asking if you need to be totally emersed in water to be baptised. According to the Bible, in the original Greek the word "baptisemo" (I think that's how it's spelled) means to be totally emersed. So, according to that, yes you need to be totally emersed. Other than that, Jesus our Lord and Savior died for ALL of our Sins (that we've already made and will make in the future) so that we could be with Him in Heaven. I hope this helps you out.

The question should be if you have to wash your heart from lust, anger and greed, first, before go to heaven.
