Oh + I know ***exactly*** where you are coming from... My son bought this huge *rope* from petco that they guarenteed would last.. our Missie had it chewed apart in less than 5 mins... The top part of a kong off in 15 mins... Go onto ebay and get yourself a *pillow* that is made of burlap and has 3 handles ... this is for playing tug with your pit.. your toy. put it up after play.. you will get lots of play and easy tug play out of this.

To search for it in ebay type *** schutzhund *** into the search bar.

YOU may even want to consider some schutzhund training with your pit.. they are very good with it too. I really like the sport...

GOOD LUCK

I have Mastiffs, so I am very familiar w/ this problem. I have had good luck w/ Tire Biters and large Nyla bones. Also give your dog a large soda bottle (under supervision & remove the cap and ring). It wont last too long, but it's a cheap fun toy. My dogs will turn their noses up at their store bought toys for a soda bottle. Also look at your local pet store for an indestructable ball. I have 2 one of which I have had for 6 years & it's a little scratched but still whole. They're made of hard plastic that my dogs have not been able to chew.

Gee if you do find something they cannot tear up you have done better than me. Been around Pits for 50 years best I can do is tell you the thicker the rope the better. Used to use inner tubes but they don't last as long as rope and rope easier to clean up.

I've got two American Bulldogs and this is what I've found to be the most long lasting. At WalMart there is a rubber tire with a rope at the end. The rope won't last long, but the tire will. I've had my dogs' tire for almost a year now.

Hope this helps!

At walmart or a pet store can buy a rubber pull toy that has what looks like triangles on both ends of it. One for you to hold onto and one for Kong to hold onto. This will not pull apart and will last for a long time. Have fun!

Try rotating the toys that he plays with. About the only thing that won't be destroyed immediatly is the KONG.
