I feel needy around this girl I really like. For example, I feel insecure, I feel like I need her to affirm me. Its really not nice. How do I deal with this?
No, I don't think she likes me, she's been my close friend for years and only lately have I developed a romantic liking towards her. But I would like to deal with my neediness once and for all before it kills off whatever friendship we have left.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you feel needy it could be a sign that she's less interested in you than you are in her.. you need to get some interests that don't involve her.. show her you're a cool person and that she doesn't hold your fate in the palm of her hand.. good luck!

you need to place your neediness with you instead of her... any response she gives to you, take that and give it to yourself alone... If you know that you always have yourself in that way then you wont ever think that you need another to do any of that for you...
