that it was something made up thousands of years ago??

have you seen a shred of evidence that supports the fact a truly religious icon (aka jesus) is out there buried somewhere.

If my God does not exist, then I die happy believing he did, and will die and never know that I was wrong, since I will cease to be concious.
If he does exist, then I die and go to Heaven to be with Him.
I can not lose, only win.

Actually, what your question SHOULD propose is "What if we're living a lie and CHRISTIANITY doesn't exist", for RELIGION is nothing more than MAN'S view of God, thereby lending credence to the fact that there IS such a thing as Christianity. Christianity DOES exist by the way! Jesus IS risen from the dead. This is why you won't find any evidence of His bones or any of the other nonsense perpetrated upon us by people willing to make a fast buck off the gullible. If He had never been here, it would've been EASY to discredit Christianity CENTURIES ago, much less the way people are trying to do it today. None of the things concerning His life, death, and resurrection would've been true, and the Church as we know it wouldn't exist! Because these establishments have survived and many things prophesied about the day we live in have come to pass, I'm lead to believe it's real and will be fulfilled in His "due season" as the Scripture says.

I am sure the bones of Jesus are out there somewhere. As for religion, it exists and that seems to be the problem. If someone tells me I will probably go to the lower realms of existence, it makes me want to throw that man off a balcony which would (in his mind) justify his opinion. To me it would mean the world has one less two legged weasel to deal with.

All of man's behavior asks these questions:

Who is the God I am to worship?

How can I be near God?

Religion is a set of activites designed to help me find the answer to those questions....

But it is exhasuting!.....

so when I found that Jesus wanted to engage me in a personal relationship, I jumped at that. Peace and purpose and meaing come from that relationship. I love spending time with Him.

All the other good things flow from that, for me.
I know my relationship exists, thank God I don't have to practice a religion.

I honestly, sincerely believe in Jesus Christ. My heart tells me He is real. Also, he is not "buried somewhere". He rose from the grave and is now sitting at our Father's side intervening on our behalf each time we sin.

:0) Lovely, huh!?!

To find Jesus' body would go a long way towards disproving Christian beliefs. Apparently he ascended bodily into heaven.

If God does not exists, we certainly wouldn't be in the USA. It was Catholic Columbus that found the continent.

I wouldn't have the internet!
