You can't go wrong with the Georgian Bay and 30,000 island region (Midland and Penetaguishene) which is about an 1hr 1/2 north of Toronto.

Northwestern Ontario is awesome. My family would always go to Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. I really loved it there.

Grey Bruce Penninsula, especially Kincardine/Goderich area....it's beautiful and the sunsets over Lake Huron are spectacular.
