We use less the 15% of our brain so we have no idea what the mind is really capable of. I think all people have the ability to see beyond themselves and the physical world but some are much more in tune with it than others. I think deja-vu is an unconscious form of it.

Yes...I get deja vu all the time and it freaks me out. I even asked a question on here to the psychologists about whether it was normal or not because I was getting worried about me having it so often. Pretty much everything that I do, I feel like I've done it before. It was so bad one week that I thought maybe I was in a coma and didn't know and was dreaming about my life. I hope I'm not in a coma, but deja vu is scary sometimes...
EDIT: Darminator, how do you prove deja vu? That's like proving someone is psychic. Just because they tell you something they say they see, doesn't mean they are telling you the truth. You can't prove what you can't see.

I don't believe in things which are proven - deja vu is a fact and therefore supersedes belief.
Deja vu is when the chemicals get mixed up in your brain and you experience the sensation of remembering something even though you are actually experiencing it for the first time.

i have never experienced it personally but i do believe in it. my mom told me a story once, it was so strange, i bought a painting when i was still a teenager (i was just really drawn to it though it wasn't something i would normally like) and she "recognized" the house the painting. she told me that when i was a baby we went to look at this house on the beach and she "knew" every room, she even remembered a family on a boating trip, and when we got to beach behind the house, there was an old rotted boat, the size and frame exactly as she had pictured it. i don't think it is as common as some may say, but i do believe that it happens.
to this day she has the painting hanging up in her house.

Of course I believe in it. However it doesn't exist in the physical world. It is something our minds create and is as real as negative numbers. Although, clearly less useful...
