If you have a large amount of cash, say a million or more, the bank may charge you to count it but probably not as they will make a tidy profit on the overnight interest. A small amount like £800 is nothing to them, just separate it into denominations (5, 10, 20 etc) and the cashier will just weigh it.

They will tell you at the bank if it is too much, I don't think there is a limit but I am not 100% sure. Post it off with a cheque if you are worried abput carrying that amount of money around with you.

Go to your bank and give them your £800 and ask them for a BANKERS DRAFT Made out to the person who is to get the money. This is the safest way to do this!! keep a copy of your cheque or bankers draft. MONEY is too hard to make .....
these day so send a bankers draft to the company they will also be glad to see it that way....

If it has an empty amount you can pay what you like, if it has an amount printed you can still amend it (I have before), make sure you get a reciept :)
