I bought an excercize DVD and then discovered a lot of the excercizes were to be done with a balance ball. I had no idea I need props, LOL! Since there was no info on the DVD, I checked online (I'm outside the US but I buy on Amazon) and they sell different diameters: 50/55, 65, 70 cms.

Same thing with the resistance band. Is there a lenght per height issue or not? Still, no info on the DVD either.

I'm 5' tall, which ball/band should I get?

For the ball the important thing is the distance between the back of you leg when you are sitting and the flat of your foot. So that when you sit on the ball you form a right angel (90 degrees) at the knee or possibly have it slightly more bent than that if sizes make this not possible.
The resistance bands just need to be long enough for what you want to do with them - if you are doing stuff where the band is under your foot on the floor and you need to stretch the band to over your head (whilst standing up) then you need a long band. (If you are doing exercises which only require the band to stretch from the floor to your waste then you can use a shorter one.)
If you are still unsure go into a sport shop and say you are thinking about buying and get them to explain which size you should have and why.

If you are 5' tall then I would not get an exercise ball that is too big for you. Probably best to stick with the small 50/55 cm diameter ball.
As far as the resistance bands go the length of them really should not be too much of an issue. If they are too long then wrap the extra length around your hand as you do your exercises.
I would also suggest checking out things more specifically on Amazon. they are usually pretty good about going through things and if need be returning items.

Good Luck!

usually when you go to buy a ball, it will say on the box what the weight limit is. They have a ball for each size depending on weight limit. As for the resistance band, they should have one standard size. if you're only 5'tall, I'd buy the basic strap that the store sells. I don't think they make straps for kids yet, nor have i every seen one for tall (5'10+) people. I think the basic strap they have is a one size fits all kind of deal. Go to Target.com, I'm not sure if they ship outside the country. Doesn't hurt to check though. Good Luck!

I may suggest you try 50/55. Then if this too short ,you probably need something else.
