Taking the Staten Island Ferry one Snowy morning, The Sun was just rizing and the lights in the World Trade Center, and other downtown skyscrapers we still on in there offices, I was all alone on the bow (front) of the boat, Just the snow, the harbor, the skyline, the sunrise, and me. My boyfriend took me to NY in 1993; we went up the WTC and it is (now) my best memory as it can never be repeated.

The boat trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island was also great if a bit touristy.

Leaving and seeing the city getting farther and farther away.

It is hectic, busy, and crowded and there just never seems to be a lull. I go in on weeknights now to have the best chance of getting parking and getting a seat in a restaurant. I always seem to be more relaxed once I've left.

My boyfriend took me to NY, just before christmas.. I loved the whole vibe of the city and everyone seemed to be so friendly. the empire State was brilliant, but I loved going up the rockafellow centre, you get a brilliant view of Manhattan. And it was the first time I'd been in a helicopter, I'll never forget that because i was TERRIFIED!!

I like the natural history museum and the one that has the suits of armor.

Central park and the Botanical garden are nice.

I stayed there for a week once, my bro and sis were renting for $140 a month or so. I didn't like it.

New York is loud, crowded and dirty mostly I think.
Not much use for it.

Sad as I am, mine is going shopping! Loved it in Macys, Saks, Bloomingdales and FAO Shwartz (probably spelled that wrong!)
Also went up the Empire State, had a limo from JFK to Manhattan and did a helicopter tour.......

My hubby took me 8 years ago for my birthday and it was fab, would love to go back............

Going to see Hairspray on Broadway. I've always loved Musicals and it was amazing to finally see a Broadway Show!
