I can tell you absolutely not.

The Army pays for everything that you need. You do not NEED a spouse to perform your chosen mission.

On the other hand, you may be able to get a little pomp and circumstance from your squad or company.
I.E. Having your squad raise their calvary swords as you exit the chapel.

ARE YOU SERIOUS????? Um NO! The Army pays you, you pay for your own wedding. The Army is not a branch of MTV, it is actually part of the Department of Defense and in being so is not in the wedding business, it is in the war business. About $25 at city hall should take care of things if you are short on money.

No. As far as the allowance for having dependants goes. When I got married my pay went up $979 per month. We bought a nice 5 bedroom/3 bath house so we can start a family

Nope. It does beg the follow up question that if the Army did pay for your wedding; would it also pay for your divorce?

No, they will not. You have to pay for it yourself. The only thing the Army will do is give you more of a monthly allowance for a dependant, but it is not that much.

No, that is something you pay for yourself. You can get your Chaplin to officiate, if you are in the states.

"IF THE MILITARY WANTED YOU TO HAVE A WIFE/HUSBAND WE WOULD HAVE ISSUED YOU ONE IN YOUR C-BAG"
