Any school dinner ladies out there?

For ages now I've been seeking an authentic recipe for school style butterscotch tart. There are several recipes available via Google (including one from Delia) but NONE of them are quite right. I need an authentic dinner lady to tell me the recipe!!!! Thank you.

I'm not a dinner lady but you just brought back a lovely memory for me! Toffee tart we called it. Yum!

well its all healthy eating at school now so we dont have such things only fruit, fruit and more fruit.
