You can get an exercise ball and a pair of dumbells that have adjustable weights. They do not take up much space. If you know how to use them properly, you can do: lunges, dumbell presses on the ball, dumbell kickbacks for triceps, dumbell curls for biceps, dumbell rows, stiff legged deadlifts, arnold presses, crunches on the ball, and many other exercises. For cardio, you can go jogging.

Try doing "mini workouts" . You can get the same health benefits of walking for 30 mins at one time by simply breaking it into 2, 15mins walks.

You could also try signing up for classes at your gym and writing them in your agenda. You are less likely to skip your workout if you make it an appointment with yourself.

If you hate the gym that much, at least cancel your membership so that you aren't wasting the money, buy yourself a great pair of running shoes, and hit the road for a great workout and some fresh air!!
