You will have to take backup of your data on C or D. And then format it as FAT32. After this you can install FreeDOS there. If you can remove C and D for other purposes, then there is nothing like it. Put ReactOS on C and FreeDOS on D. Both should be FAT32. Personally it would be good to dump Microsoft and use only Free Software. You can have good sleep every day and forget about sleepless nights altogether.
Best wishes.

To install DOS on the E drive, you would have to have a set of DOS install disk. You would need to purchase those (Good luck finding them).
You can not convert a partition from NTFS back to FAT32 without doing an fdisk and reformatting the drive to FAT32. Windows will allow to ro upgrade FAT32 to NTFS, but not to downgrade back to FAT32.

well it is quite difficult yo get DOS as it is very outdated. Even an Indian Government Office does not use DOS. i think the problem with you is that you want to change the file format from NTFS to FAT32. You just need a bootable disc for that purpose or a bootable OS installation disc will also do.
hope your problem would be solved.
Bye!!!

You must already be having it if you have Windows 95 or above.
All you need to do is to either search for it or find it in the start menu. If its not there , you can use your Windows installation disc to re-install DOS . If it still does not get installed , it could be that you a pirated version of Windows.
