I am thinking about getting the SLP widemouth but i dont know why it has no mufflers and if that would effect the sound or proformance of my car. please help me

I HAVE A 2006 SALEEN SUPERCHARGED MUSTANG WITH BASSANI X-PIPE AND STEEDA MUFFLERS IT SOUNDS GREAT AND IT DOESN'T HAVE A TERRIBLE DRONE AT FREEWAY SPEED TOOK FOR A 2500 MILE ROAD TRIP. TALK TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND DO YOUR RESEARCH AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. IF YOU PUT THE WRONG SYSTEM ON IT, IT WILL DRIVE YOU NUTS IN THE LONG RUN.

Most cities have Ford car clubs. Go to a gathering and listen in person. The systems all sound different. Good sound to some is bad to others. How else could a coffee can muffler on a 4cylinder be explained.

Best thing for you to do is to visit one of the video sites and search on the different exhausts then research how bad their respective exhaust drones are. The Loudmouths were too loud for me so I went with Macs. The Macs have a better sound in my opinion, but the problem is they drone like crazy. I listened to numerous sound clips and vids before making a decision but didn't research the drone issue.

torqueymonster is on the right track get a trans am and you can push it home every night, builds strong arms and legs and apparently a big mouth.
torqueymonster if you don't like Fords why don't you stay out of the ford forum?

Go with the magaflow .Real easy bolt on exhaust great sound all stainless steel.I install them on all the performance mustangs that we build at our dealer

do not get flowmasters i have borla exhaust on mine and they sound very good you can hear me coming from down the street! i have the x-pipe on it... with no cats which is illegal so get the cats but it wont be as loud if you get the cats.... but thats what i suggest!
