well caffeine is a diuretic (it helps to rid the body of water) but if you put sugar and specially cream in it then you will most likely gain weight.

Drinking a grande mocha frappachino from Starbucks or anything of that nature can definitely pack on the pounds! Those drinks can have upwards of 400 calories a pop! That's almost a meal right there if you're trying to lose weight. Your best bet is to stick to plain or flavored fresh brewed coffee with light creamer or milk. If you can't forgo the sugar and maybe you don't like artificial sweeteners, (I know I can't!) try substituting half splenda and half regular sugar. It works for me. Good luck!

This all depends on what you put in your coffee - milk, cream, sugar, etc. Cut back on these things and it will not affect you diet too much.

no if you dont add anything it helps you lose wieght at least thats what my doc says
