People seem to like to pretend God is evil and Satan is the good guy. I think it's just wrong. Even if your not religous why do it?

It's not that God is evil and Satan is good, it's that NEITHER ONE EXISTS in the first place!
It's like when you were a kid and the bigger kids called you stupid, and no matter how many times you said, "No, I'm not!" they still insisted that you were. You KNEW they were wrong no matter what, right?
Just because so many people insist that God is real does not make it truth. The difference between superstition and religion are the number of people involved.

Well I haven't seen any questions here that say god is evil and satan is good.
And Lazy Time...when you said "Angry bitter atheists I assume."
You showed why you should never ASSume anything. Atheists don't believe in god or the devil, so it wouldn't have been an atheist.

By design, God gives nothing. God is the one to fear. The promise comes from Paul that everyone will be considered through Jesus. The New Testament Satan, on the other hand, is our proof that Man is free will.

We here at the center believe that one's relationship to "God" is a personal one and therefore, different individuals may have different definitions/concepts of "God". Unfortunately, many individuals are self centered and come to the false conclusion that their "God" is the right god and should be everyone's god. I believe you are referring to the atheists. They aren't writing against god, they are writing against supernatural practices and beliefs. It's backlash against centuries of things being the other way around.
News flash: If you don't believe in god you don't believe in Satan either.
Nice try playing the poor, persecuted devotee. You aren't persecuted and you aren't repressed.
