This is not true at all! Coffee actually has a lot of antioxidant power. The only way you'd be causing your body harm with it would be if you tried to see how many espresso shots you could take in 2 minutes. Taking in to much caffeine at a time, from any source, is not great for you.

I beleive too much of anything can have a bad effect on your body but coffee in moderate portions is fine and actually recent studies have shown it to be beneficial
