A doctor suggested that some tightness in my underarms may be swollen lymph nodes (although I can't feel a thing under there) caused by a virus.

But, other than HIV, which I know I do not have, I never heard of a virus lasting for more than 6 months. Is that even possible? Is so, which ones.

Many viruses can last a long time if untreated.........and cause other problems if not checked out!!

Why do people wait until last minute to do anything?

many viruses can live inside you in a dormant form so best thing is to always have at least an annual check up, hopefully your doctors know how to check for things affecting your body and you don't hide symptoms no matter how embarrasing you think they may be!

You can always go to a med web site and find out but there are many sexual diseases that may be considered viruses gone bad!!!!!!

Yes. I had glandular fever. The first bout lasted for a few weeks. Then it disappeared for a few months, then I had it again. It has come and go less and less regularly over the last eight years, generally when I'm already run down. Like your lymph nodes, this also affects your glands, so may be related.

Also, chicken pox is a virus you have as a child that can come back as Shingles when your are old.

I'm sure there a hundreds, if not thousands, of other examples.

Id assume its a family practice doctor or an intenal medicine doctor. Dont trust their judgement on this matter, they have limited experience in this field. Virus, hardly. Maybe a bacterial infection or an alergy to something, but certainly not a virus.

Go see a dermatologist who is familiar with such things. I had a similar poblem for about 3 years causing me lots grief and my intenal med doc did zero good. Finally i went to a dematologist MD and he diagnosed it correctly as a food alergy to eggs. I removed eggs from my diet and GONE is the problem.

maybe you are not affected by the virus other than the lymph nodes. you did the right thing and saw the doctor. that could of been the effect of a virus. just didn't go away.

I even have an thought and that i as we talk have been given pregnant utilising my approach. If it does paintings, i could truly like which you will permit me be attentive to. those those that are no longer of age, please provide up examining now. merely in case you don't be attentive to, the cervix acts as a vacuum while a woman has an orgasm. It sucks up the sperm. in maximum circumstances, the girl climaxes in the previous the guy, or in no way, so this vacuum isn't activated while the semen is interior the vagina. My husband and that i had merely gotten married and wished to have infants as we talk. I have been sexually intimate with him previous to that and had in no way gotten pregnant. i thought possibly i could no longer. We had intercourse and then to objective my concept, I asked him to accomplish oral intercourse after he left his DNA (sorry Im merely no longer attempting to be incredibly image yet nonetheless get the element in the process). Afterwards, I placed my legs up on the headboard with a pillow under me for tilt (I had tried that interior the previous by ability of itself and it in no way worked). 4 weeks later, I took a attempt and replaced into pregnant. After my daughter replaced into born, i found out that my cervix had no longer closed thoroughly. They gave me a pill yet i do no longer think of it worked thoroughly. My daughter replaced into 3 months old as quickly as I found out that i replaced into pregnant back. there is not any info of this and it sounds off the wall yet once you opt for for, look up the cervix's function throughout the time of orgasm. It would not harm to objective and that i swear, this is how I have been given pregnant.
