The Church of England is part of the established state church, whereas baptist churches are part of the nonconformists, believing in baptism only for believers. In practice there may not be much difference as they are both Christian denominations amongst many others.

Henry VIII wanted to get divored but under Catholic rule he couldn't so he made the Church of England. Don't know about baptist churches though

Baptists insist on belivers baptism, in other words, the individual must decide for him/herself if they want to follow Christ. How a baby makes such a decision is beyond me!

I am a baptist, and we have believers baptisms whereas C of E have Christenings then confirmations.
(We are also livelier Christians!)

I am a baptist Christian (purely Calvinistic).....
Don't know what a C of E church is....
