Absolutely. You have faith that the chair you're sitting in won't break, and will hold you up. You have faith in yourself that you'll pass that test in class, that you'll get the job done, you have faith in your friends that you can count on them, etc. Yes, faith really counts in real life.

It can be an emotional support in time of need. Clearly faith is just that. It is abundantly clear to anyone willing to actually study that none of the great faiths are accurate in a factual sense - at all --- however, they can still give comfort. The danger comes in when people try to "live their faith" to the exclusion of the real world. Those people, following bronze and early iron age myths, become dangerous to society, humanity, and innocence - no matter what core faith they are from before they become fundamentalists.

Answer this, do you have faith ? Do you believe that the one you love loves you back be it your parents, a lover, a friend, your pet? Are you sure you have a school / job to go to each morning? Are you sure each night when you go to sleep that tomorrow you will wake? Are you sure the sun rises in the east? When you see a baby, a breathtaking sunset, a flower unmolested by winter, the eagle sore, the grass grow, the wind blow, the moon dance on a body of water, a rainbow. are you ever in awe?. If you answered yes to even one question Hun, thank God for your faith, for he is, was and will always be there as long as you keep the faith. :) His love is your promise as long as you believe, and believing "IS" faith.

Oh yes! What do you mean, "does 'faith' really count in human life?" ? Faith is the engine in a person's life. Can a car do anything without the engine?

A person without faith is dead while walking! So, you can see that most people are walking corps! Isn't that shocking?

Yes, whatever kind of faith it is, it's counted for human life. Heb 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

What do you think? You look like part of the Jihad to me, Mohammed lol.

Faith is defined as:
"allegiance to duty or a person" - MW dictionary.

allegiance is defined as:
"the fidelity owed by a subject or citizen to a sovereign or government" - MW dictionary

So is it worth to have faith? There are many factors. For example, would you have faith in the United states government? Or the Government where you live (probably middle east)? Are you loyal?

It is just some food for thought.

Faith in God and his teachings really counts in human life because man was created by God and we must have faith in him while living.
I have reviewed your question and I have concluded that your spelling on the word is supposed to be fate not "faith" . If people say it is your "fate" it means it is your destiny or it is really what will it happen to you. next time use correct spelling of words to have a clear answer, my boy.

Faith may be defined as trust. It consists of putting our trust in the promises of God. The writer to the Hebrews said:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

God Requires Faith

Throughout the entire Scripture we find God requiring humankind to exercise faith. Faith is necessary to please God.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

The Bible says that our Christian experience is to be done through faith.

For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Faith, therefore, in Christ is the key to living a Christian life.

Not Blind Faith

Christian faith is not a blind leap into the dark. It is intelligent faith based upon the testimony of God's Word. The Bible commands believers to know what they believe and why they believe it. This comes about by testing things.

Test all things, hold on to that which is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

Summary

Faith, or trust in God, is a necessary ingredient of the Christian life. However, the faith that God wants us to exercise in not blind faith, but rather intelligent faith. We are test things by using the mind that God has given us.

Yes, it really counts in human life. Strictly "in human life" and not outside it. For example, it is your faith that someone will answer your question and it will be human and no one else.

Faith: (n) - a belief in something for which there is no proof.

It's fine to have faith, but faith alone won't pay the bills, cure cancer or help you through your next math test. It tends to make you feel better, but so do drugs.

I prefer reason and logic as a tool for cognition. But hey, that's just me. Believe what you want - untold millions have been born, lived and died believing and worshipping:

The sun.
The Son.
God
gods
trees.
The Earth
Themselves
Animals
Rocks

You name it - they are either ALL correct, or ALL wrong - you decide.

Have a nice day.
