as long as you are talking about programming by parent and not by genetics or some higher power I agree.

No, everyone is given free will. God could have required that each of us believe in him and love him; but then that would not be love.. ..we'd simply be puppets and what's the point in that? Do you enjoy playing w/ puppets as much as you do your own children; of course not. Some have the fortune to hear about the truth, the Good news of God's plan for salvation, in more detail or at an earlier age; but nobody is programmed to believe or not believe.

Every people are not programmed to believed in God, their instinct tells them so, and the scriptures proved the existence of God. A higher being who control the universe. He is the sovereign God.
The reason why others believed that the existence of God is merely a mans figment of imagination, is because of thier rebelious activities that is contrary to the law of God.

I wouldn't say they were "programmed" - it is just that some harden their hearts when they hear the message of God, while others receive it.
Nothing has change, all people are given the opportunity to hear the word of God - but sadly, the response God receives if not the same. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Not programmed but by the All-knowing quality of almighty Allah, they were known to Him in advance, who ever will be the believers and others non-believers.
As almighty He is All-Just and All-Wise as well, He does not take any action without any justification. He waits until our action be witnessed and recorded as proof.

Some people are gullible and believe in things that can't be proven to exist. Others are skeptical and need proof in order to believe in something and find it hard to believe in a book that tells tales of arcs and poison apples.

I believe that everybody has the chance to choose what they want to believe. I went to a Cathelic school all my life, my girlfriend is Cathelic and my religion is Protestant. We have a daughter together, what do you think will happen when our daughter will about Religion. My personal believe is that the government decided to "invent" religion to give people something(good) to believe in. It's true we we're created in one way, but I think we we're created by compressed energy that hit together and created one big energy ball that created life form on that big energy ball.

I wouldn't say programmed, but certainly pre-disposed.
Human beings are not created equal in intelligence. Some live out their entire lives in ignorance, and some come to certain realizations before they reach 25.

Yes, the programming just doesn't take to some people in both cases. Those are called thinkers, good or bad.

Human Beings do not like the unknown. If they cannot find a logical explanation then they need to "create" one.
Some people are more logical than others.
