A. eat less, but don't starve. I use to weigh over 200 pounds! I have kept my weight off for 6 years. I have found out that if I can't have any sweets, it kills me. I do Weight Watcher on my own. I can anything I want, but I choose wisely because when my points are gone, that is it for the day. Mine is a mind set, I love sweets, pasta, breads. I eat them , just in moderation. I have lost 6 pounds in two weeks, I have had pasta almost everyday, I had a taste of my daughters milk shake. I buy WW(Smart Ones). Also if you drink regular sodas, not good- my sixteen year old thinks she is fat.(NOT) She just cut out regular soda's and dropped about 5 pounds. You can loose weight and still eat what you want, just less. It works for me and I hope it works for you.

Maybe both and add one more:
a. Eat less quantity
b. Completely avoid certain foods-such as pasta, cheese, cream, sweets (that includes certain fruits too like bananas, grapes, dried fruits), refined foods, fast foods and meat
Eat more of the whole grains-brown rice, whole wheat, more fresh vegetables (avoid rich salad dressings, and use lemon juice with herb seasonings instead) and sub-acid fruits=citrus fruits, apples, pears, kiwis, etc..)
c. Add to that more activity, or exercise (useful labor-such as gardening or yard-work)
Remember that you didn't gain weight suddenly in one morning. It took months or years for you to accumulate the extra weight. So be as patient as you try to lose the extras. It will take time, but work on on it slowly but surely and you'll have the expected result.
All the best!

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurites come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. To learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. Cleansing was good for me. Good luck whatever you decide to do!

I think both a & b
You should eat the meals you eat regularly ( unless it is laden with fat) but eat less quantity. Try eating morethan three meals during the day. Try six small ones.
Hey reward yourself once a month or so when the pounds start melting with your fav food

1) Eat less. Period! Regardless of what Jenny Craig tells you, you can NOT lose weight by stuffing your face all day.
2) Exercise regularly. I don't mean taking a 20 minute walk at lunch or counting your steps either. High paced aerobic work outs at least 3 times per week.
People now a day have completely over analyzed weight loss. Eat less, exercise more and you will lose weight.

When it comes to losing weight, it is really just a matter of 'calories in' vs. 'calories out' but It is better for your overall health to avoid certain foods like sugar, white flour, alcohol, fried foods and full-fat cheeses/meats.
Substitute these for sweetener, whole wheat flour, virgin drinks, low-fat dairy and baked/broiled/grilled meats & vegetables.

Definitely B.
If you replace all the "bad" in your diet with "good" you will lose weight. Example: replace refined carbs (white bread, sugar) with complex "slow burning" carbs (brown rice, whole grains, lentils) and you will feel fuller longer and with less food. You should be making the nutritional most of every calorie.
