What is the default settings for "Automatically keep a history of my conversations" in Options for your FIRST installation of Window Live Messenger?
What was it set to?
A - Yes (Checked / Ticked)
B - No (Unchecked / Empty)

By the way, I DON'T mean I want to know when should I use which option, I just want to know what is the DEFAULT setting (The original setting when Window Live Messenger was first installed and configured by the system itself, not the user)

It keeps a log file for you chat session,
When it is on you'll find your chat log under My document/my recieved files folder
The defult is un check I guess
you may make it on if this is a personal PC and make it off in a public pc

If you want to review conversations down the road, use A.
If you see no need to keep a record of old chats, use B.
