Whatever your point is please don't dump your boyfriend.
Think about the good things too...
St. Patricks would be so upset if he knew it that you dumped him cuz of this...

Are you accustomed to getting gifts on St Patricks Day???
I'm Irish and we never 'give gifts' except all year. lol
St Patrick was a wandering minister of the gospel who has been honored through the years with the belief that he ridded Ireland of snakes. Now what would be an appropriate gift? A green snake? A King James Bible? (he was not ever a member of the roman catholic religion). Maybe if you are really crying over this, you could use both.
On the other hand, could you be happy with a nice card from him? You could lead him to the nearest card shop and point out a loverly card. Then if he won't buy you a card, well... Throw him back. I was thinking maybe he was wondering how much this was going to cost him. I don't think a card is too much. Good Luck on this..

I was not aware that St. Patrick's Day was a gift-giving occasion. If you dump everyone who makes you cry you'll never have a relationship with anyone - friend or boyfriend. Pick your battles - this doesn't sound like a big deal to me.

St. Patrick's Day isn't like Christmas. If your Irish then maybe yeah he should give you something. But sence your not why would he? It's just like any other day. I hope that helped.

NO!!! your paradigm and his are different. Understand his motives and act accordingly. Dumping him without understanding him is the last resort

You are on a political site. Please move to a site where there are other very young children asking your level of questions.
Otherwise, I am sure someone will report you.
