Are you talking about back in the Old days when he descended onto Mt. Sinai and Moses wouldn't let anybody up to see him.

If God was somewhere religious leaders would keep him locked away so nobody could get to him.

They will always have a monopoly on God and that would make it easier.

I understand you are likely a believing Jew who does not realise that he has based his life on nonsense -- not necessarily a bad thing pragmatically. I would say the same to believing christians, muslims, mormons and communists.
