Why don't you get her a nice card and then give her a big hug saying her that you love her very much. This year will be the first without my mum, she passed away 91/2 months ago. I feel so sad because I won't be able to tell her "Happy Mothers Day". So sweetie having a mum is one of the best things in the world. Now that you can give her a big kiss and hug and tell her that you love her. I wish I could do that. God Bless You.

A lovely card with a really heartfelt verse in means more to our mothers than any tacky gift! The whole thing has just become so commercialised that there is an expectation that we spend, spend, spend! However, you cant buy love and a mother/daughters love for each other is unconditional, so just go with the heart chick.

I recommend making her a voucher for a treatment that you could do her like a manicure or a pedicure, failing that why not do her a poem from the heart telling her how much you appreciate the things that she does for you and i am sure she will be happy with that -have a nice mothers day both of you.

Get her a card and do something nice for her - like cook dinner, tidy round the house.
Its the little things that mums appreciate, they don't expect you to spend the earth, its the thought that counts.

Most moms love SENTIMENTAL gifts, even from their adult children! home made scrapbooks, a letter of sincere appreciation, something their child made specifically for them out of love. SHOW her how much you love and appreciate her by preparing dinner for her and cleaning up afterwards, or clean the house for her, etc. Little things mean a LOT!

if you get on really well with your mum, try writing a soppy heartfelt letter, thanking her for everything shes done for you. then she'll know how much you appreciate her.
I did it last yr as i'd had a difficult couple of months and she was there for me, all i wanted to do was thank her......my mums really emotional anyway and she cried her eyes out. (tears of joy of course)

Spoil her by taking her breakfast in bed, cooking dinner and washing up afterwards and generally make a fuss of her. It isn't how much you spend on her - it's how you show her you love her...
