Preparation Day, 3pm, of Passover week (Easter) having two Sabbaths, is when the passover lamb slain; For no work was allowed on either high or higher Sabbath this week.

Eg: Preparation Day Info: It is not reasonable nor correct to assume the crucifixion occurred on Good Friday nor the last supper occurred on (Maundy) Thursday as many are erroneously taught in churches and Sunday schools. So let us have a better understanding of "preparation day" (Matthew 27:62; Mark 15:42; Luke 23:54; John 19:14, 31, 42), which is scripturally noted as the day on which the crucifixion occured...

As for the crucifixion(sacrifice), it is notably what the only true God never desired. The will of God, stated several times, is JC repeated in Matthew 9:13 as a go figure what "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice" meaneth. Going to Hebrews 10, it meaneth true God & Son (having no respect of persons) will have grace, and not law; And the "not" part is not then, not now, not ever. Hebrews 10:36 also notably states do the will of God precedes receive the promise (eternal life). Selah.

As for the resurrection, perhaps being foretold FALSE Christs shall arise, and notably to DECEIVE, obviously gives place to resurrection 'appearances can be deceiving':

Jesus died on what we celebrate as Good Friday and his hour of death was sometime in the middle of the day because in the Easter Story directly from the Bible it says that the "day turned to night".

14 of Nissan. Not sure about the hour.

-Dominus-

P.S. 33 CE Also note that he was 33 and a half years old when he died, and Nisan is between the end of marth and beginning of april. If you count six months, (or seven to be safe), you should get to an approximate month of his birth, since Jesus was 33 and a half when he died. If you count seven months from the beggining of April, you get to the beggining of November. Thus, this makes it biblically impossible for him to have been born in December 25.

As a child I had to draw religious pictures between noon and three on good friday.

As an adolescent I realised that if he were god he could have chosen any moment he pleased to "die", which is a choice most of us are denied.

As an adult I recognise the validity of proofless belief and heartily recommend Martin Scorsese's Last Temptation of Christ.
