What is the main diffrence between gimp 2.0 and gimpshop?

I know gimpshop is meant to have more of a interface like photoshop. Is it exactly thesame has gimp 2.0 then?

They have much the same functionality. Gimpshop just has a more "user friendly" interface, a smaller learning curve.
