Your being overtaken? There is no one forced to convert to Islam people convert because they find something they don't find in other faiths. No one is trying to overtake you, why would they? Your being ridiculous. Catholicism may be better for you and good luck to you if it brings you what you seek. But dont tell me its better. The IRA are not innocent if you are judging Muslims on the acts of a few terrorist then Catholicisms should be judged accordingly. I live in the UK and lived through the constant terror of the IRA and never once thought any other catholic was to blame other than the ones committing the act. Why is it people are so quick to judge all Muslims by the acts of a few. Before all this political war against terror rubbish did you ever give Muslims a second thought? I'm sure you didn't. Did you worry about being overtaken in 1999? or 1989? or1979? Of course you didn't and Muslims still lived and worked in your country then. Don't judge all Muslims by the actions of a few.

Nobody should fear Islam, at the moment it is a way for a vast many of people who feel they or their families have been opressed by western cultures can stand together under an umbrella of (if moderate) reasonable religous dogmas.
However Islam is actually in great turmoil within, between sunni and shiat or moderate and strict followers. How many kind well meaning professional muslims do you think would honestly want to live under shariah law. I have known many, many young muslim men who have taken drugs, smoked and drank alcohol, yet still preach anger and hatred toward America and the west and their "decodent societies". From my experience Islam is a huge Oxymoron and it will only be a matter of time before it goes through a reformation and this is what the extremists fear and are fighting to protect. The qoran as it is cannot survive in a modern society without being amended as it too violent and discriminatary.
Muslims pick and choose what to follow in the qoran and this will be their downfall.

Maybe people are bit insecure. For some reason in the last 30 years (high birth rate and natural self-confidence of youth, successful violence of Iran etc inspiring youth, Satanic strategy with demons putting thoughts in minds) muslims have been very self-confident.

In the 1930s people were insecure and fascist dictatorships were very popular - in Spain, Italy and Germany. People love self-confidence. If you are self-confident people will believe you have something even if it is a confidence built on sand. The Koran is very plausible, the rituals of the religion are quite pleasing to do, I would think, but not really demanding. Add to that factors like falling in love with a muslim, but not being allowed to marry unless one converts.

Sometimes the true message of God's salvation will be liked, at other times, when people are prouder for instance, it won't:
"The Light shines in the darkness, but the darkness understands it not, but to those who believed He gave the power to become children of God..,not born of the will of men, but of God".
In humbler lands Christ's message is being believed as God gives grace to the humble. Jesus has given the church (all christians) supernatural powers when the gospel is preached that cannot be mimicked except to a trivial degree. Where the gospel is preached with these attesting signs, validating that it is God's message, then people who are humble and honest respond, be they mohammedan or whatever.

A true muslim would not be a hypacrite.I was brought up Catholic,I looked into the facts and Islam makes sense.I found nothing in been a catholic,my life has improved so much since coming Muslim,plus I found alot of catholics to be hypacrites.

You ask why are so many converting to Islam, I don't think there is as many as you all try to make the world to think, because the way you all put it, people are running over each other trying to become a muslum, Afraid not, Yes, some may be converting, so are lost sinners becoming Christians, & do you know why islam is the way it is today, because satan is running wild, seeking whom he may devour. Because satan knows his time is short. Read Zephainah Chapter 2, & see what the God of Israel will do very soon, he will famish all the gods of this earth, that includes allah.

worried?? they are converting because they want to , they will be the same people but with another faith what is the problem with that, don't worry coveting to Islam is something and converting to terrorists is another thing, do you know the difference ? I will tell you, converting to islam so in islam you will find only muslim people but to convert to terrorists you can find all kind of religions. not all muslims are terrorists and defenetaly not all terrorists are muslims, true muslim and true islam are against any kind of crime and terrorist is one of them...peace to you.

i think people being converted are looking at the true meaning of Islam. i mean Islam is the only religion very adaptable to human nature. i have seen people whose lives have become less complicated and more peaceful through Islam, they have become better human beings. I think that is the reason.

why should you be worried.Islam is a kind of peacful religion that pays attention to every aspect of life even the details.the media/TV/the anti-Islamic websites/anti-Islamic writers/governments are all trying to show an untrue ugly image of Islam, but those who actually ignore all these lies and get to know Islam themselves, find it a great religion.that's why more people convert to Islam.you just need to do some research from reliable sources.

The main reason people convert to islam is because of cross-religion marriages, islam is unflexible and wont allow marriage unless both parties are muslims.

So what you end up with are a bunch of people who claim to convert for the sake of love but they will not be true believers.

I know two couples where this happened, this is why islam is said to be the fastest growing religion.. end of.
