For you to even be thinking about it, and using the reasoning,"he is really cute and I kind of like him..." means you have very low morals. Your "best friend" needs to find a REAL best friend, because YOU ARE NOT.
What a loser.

If you are close then do not even consider going out with him. young boyfriend relationships do not last but friendship can be forever. tell him "no, i could never hurt my friend ____ like that and if you care about her you will not ask me out again."
your friend will be hurt if she finds out. i would keep my mouth shut, chances are this relationship will not last much longer. when they break up you need to not get involved with him either because he will do the same thing to you and you will lose your close friend.

Men come and go - Best friends should last forever. Kick his **** to the curb! I would warn your friend, but you have to be really careful how you do it. Otherwise, it could turn around and bite you on the butt. Being truthful will win out in the end.

Stay away for them both for a while. They will end up breaking up anyway if he is willing to cheat on her with you he will always cheat. With anyone else that comes up. he may also be checking to see what kind of friends she hangs out with to see if her best friend would do this then he can tell her how bad you are. stay her friend, but stay away from him!!!

Friendship lasts more than dating stuff, but if she were really YOUR FRIEND you wouldn't even think about it. My answer, however, is NO, don't do something like this and hurt a close person, believe me it's NOT worth of it, but whatever floats your boat.

It all depends on if you still want to be close with your best friend which in my opinion I would want to keep my best friend and not get guys in between my friendships. Another safe thing to do is wait until they break up. You could ask him when he is going to break up with her because after they break up you can ask her if it would be ok if you went out with your ex.

If you value your friendship with your best friend, don't go out with him based on your respect for your friend. No guy is worth losing a best friend. Good friends are much harder to find. Guys are a dime a dozen.

hi...
sure you can't go out with him... soon he will ask some one esle other than you and your friend so he will be gone soon and what will be left is you close friend but if you go out with him.. he won't stay with you for long and then move to the next one and also you will lose your best friend
it's your choice to lose her and hurt her or not, my advice.. you can find Boy friend any time but it's hard to find another close friend
Good luck
