Who says the Messiah is going to "save" things? Judaism, who came up with the original concept of a Messiah, has nothing about the messiah "saving" them from anything. Only G-d can do that--in fact he says it in Hosea "you shall have no savior but me"
The messiah was supposed to make things good for us on earth, not to save our souls from something, as if they needed saving...

Why do you need a Messiah? Do you know?
Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.
But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.
If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.
The Good Person Test.
How will you do? Pass or fail?
Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?
Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?
Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?
Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?
See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?
If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.
Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.
The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

"there is no Saviour but Me" from Isaiah the prophet
which .. is a good argument for why the Messiah must be not just the Son of Man but also the Son of God - fully man and fully God
interesting to note that in Daniel 3 the eternal kingdom is God's but in Daniel 7 one like a Son of Man comes from the clouds and the eternal kingdom is given to Him and people from every tribe and language and nation worship Him... they go together

Who said there is a single messiah. The Messiah on the other hand, is normally reffering to Jesus, but following the definition of messiah, King David was also a messiah, just not the Messiah.

In the end it all comes down to 2.
A Father God and A Mother God.
What ever we call them and what ever we believe.
In the end we will all be together with these two as our makers and leaders.
Man was made in the image of God, therefore there must be a female God, for there is a female woman!!!
God Bless

Messiah means anointed one. A person cannot be anointed unless there is a God to anoint them.
God offered His Son as a blood sacrifice for our sins, so it was really God that provided the atonement for our sins. It was Jesus that was the atonement.
The purpose of the resurrection was to prove that Jesus was more than a man who claimed to be the Son of God.
I don't worship Jesus, I worship God, and thank Him for Jesus, and His atonement.
God created 'man' in His own image, the word man did not mean Male. He created 'man', both male and female. 'Man' referred to a classification irregardless of gender.
0120 Mda ‘adam aw-dawm’
1) man, mankind
1a) man, human being
1b) man, mankind (much more frequently intended sense in OT)

Jesus was the first born from the dead, it doesn't mean there wern't others raised after him. People think of the Resurrection as taking place in a few minutes, maybe the resurrection of the body took a tad longer than that.

well see, it all happend about two thousand years age, zeus's son, judea, wan't to go out and have a good time on the town. Now pops had said, "son, don't have any sex with any mortals, we don't want another hercules on our hands, Hera neaver let me hear the end of it," and the young Judea said, " pops you know i gots protection, it'll be ok" and zeus was like, " well don't tell your mother, but ok, as long as you don't get any mortal woman pregnaet, I don't care." so the young Judea goes to a bar in Nazeraze and finds a beuitiful mortal woman by the name of Mary. After a few dozen bottle of wine, well you know what happens, and then Judea and his Dad had to cover it up, and controll Jesus, so he didn't couse too much trouble, luckily, the romans were in charge, so that kinda helped, but in the end, a lie can't truly be covered up and anything good come of it. Jesus upset the local Jews, (I think that he wanted to do his banking with the Romans), and so they wanted him crusified, the man in charge, Pilot, didn't think that a man should have to hang of a cross becouse he wanted to bank with the first Imperial Bank, so he made it look like Jesus died on the cross, (couldn't have been killed that way, he was half god), and then sent him to a place called Mecca, it was out of the way, and the first imperial bank of rome had a branch there, it was a drive-up window made out of a giant black metor, rather creative, and told him to change his name to mohamid, and neaver come back.

God could no longer be involved in the cesspool we had created out of our sin, but that didn't stop Him from sending His love through His only son, Jesus Christ. You see, God can not be with sin, but even to this day, He is trying to influence you and bring you to Him with the Holy Spirit. He will not give up on you, until you stand before Him on Judgement day.
