Which is worse? Someone who is aware of their intolerance and who wishes to change or someone who is not even aware of their biases?
So please stick around and keep trying. After all, if all the nice people go what's going to be left?
Come on people, lets 'Be Excellent to Each Other!'
.

Look, consider this place an opportunity to practice REAL tolerance.
Real tolerance is when you are faced with hatred, racism, ignorant behaviour and bigotry and YET you still protect your civility.
Its sort of like courage, courage is not the absence of fear, but refusing to give into it when you are afraid.
We all lack civility at one point or another. Its a constant battle between the weaknesses in your psyche and the logic of doing what is right.
Edit: Ive found out that if you detach yourself from your emotions about a certain subject, you can answer with a cooler head.

Yes, the questions do wear on you.
If you spend a lot of time on this site, it tends to have an aggravating effect on you.
Some of the questions are asked by people who have an IQ of about 80.
They are asking the questions, not for info but to aggravate.
Most of those questions are from people who do not believe in spirituality or God or anything in that realm.
Some who aren't Muslim, take the Muslim stance to get a rise out of somebody. Generally this is directed at Christians.

I think those of us who choose to answer a "religious" question show courage, not intolerance. A kind answer turneth away wrath. I hope any answer I ever give , regarding Jesus and His truth, will be seasoned with great tenderness and mercy. How else could I possibly point someone searching towards a gentle Savior? To the contrary, I find, when I speak of Him, I consider my words very carefully and my faith grows. I feel better any time I mention the lovely name of Jesus.

Worse! because you treated things as a threat to your so called religious beliefs. The scriptures says 'The truth shall sets you free' Howbeit that you sets grudges on someone afar from your belief.
Answerring religious question needs a lot of patience, we may not be able to give the exact answer, but certainly the thought is there. Let's answer religious question with love.

I believe you are a Muslim.
Read this verse from the Qu'ran:
"You shall resort to pardon, advocate tolerance, and disregard the ignorant."
Qu'ran 7:199
Have peace and patience.
And, here's a joke to lighten you up:
Here is the story of an Imam who got after Friday prayers and announced to the people:
"I have good news and bad news. The good news is, we have enough money to pay for our new building program. The bad news is, it's still out there in your pockets."
*drum snare*

I find most of the time I'm laughing so hard I can't read the scripting anymore so it's hard to get upset. Opinions are much like the orifices that they manifest from, LOL; and most assuredly everyone has at least one!
