Nobody's said this yet but you dont need to get it if you live with your Aunt. You are covered under her policy if she has either a Homeowners or a Renters.
Because you are a "Resident Relative" you are specifically included on her Home and Auto Insurance policies unless she specifically decludes you by naming you on an exclusion form.
You can still purchase your own renters policy if you wish though. Your aunt will also be covered under it because it will also have a Resident Relative clause ;)

Yes, you can and SHOULD buy a renters policy for whatever premises you are living in - whether you pay rent or not.

YES. In fact it is a necessity. For example, if the place caught on fire and wrecked all of your stuff her insurance would cover her property damage but not any of your losses.
