I think there is a time where if you say it cant happen and they always talk you back into it and you know it JUST CANT happen then you can do that.
On the other side I think they deserve to know somehow. Now if they've cheated or something sure just walk away....they will figure it out and they know in the back of their mind, you dont owe them anything if thats the case.

Yes, and funny thing is we eventually saw each other one day and never really discussed why we separated!
Not the best thing to do thou, loose ends should always be tied!
