i really think i have ring worm. I used to have a really sore itchy circular kind of rash on my back but then i started to clean it. Its still itchy but not red at all. The other day i read about ring worm and it says that if u clean it too much then your skin could break. I think my skin broke as i cleaned it loads so it wouldnt get worse. At this point i didnt think it was ring worm. Now it just looks like a dark circle on my back. Will it be a scar? Am i gonna be reminded of it for the rest of my life :(? What does it mean when the skin breaks? Please answer...

Run and go see a doctor before it gets any worse, he can help deminish the mark

If the itching and redness are gone, then just wait it out, no one can do anything else at that point and the scar will slowly fade. If you still have symptoms, see a doctor since ringworms are a fungal condition and it needs antifungal creams. You can buy a yeat infection cream ove rhte counter, it's called gynalotrimin and it will make the ringworms go away, if you don't want to see a doctor and you still have symptoms. Do be careful, b/c it is contagious.

I think you should go and see a doctor for this condition as it seems you need some type of treatment.

please see a doc coz it sounds less like a ring worm and that cant make me very helpful i doubt thats a ringworm and if it is u wont have scars
