I think most people just want to better understand the religion whose adherants think it is their divine right to rule the world, and who are willing to kill anyone even the most innocent to attain that goal. It is simply hard not to want to better understand a mindset that evil,it's hard to comprehend for many so they have to seek out the answers.

It is a combination of reasons

1) There are a lot of Muslims. About 1.7 billion. Around 1/4th or 1/3rd of the world.

2) Islam has been in the news lately.

3) Islam has been in popular tv shows and movies lately.

Non-Muslims are naturally curious and Muslims are naturally wanting to make sure that what people see on tv isn't the only thing they have on which to form an opinion of Islam.

yes
All rites of formal worship in Islam are based on Divine revelation, while the modes of worship in other religions are a mixture of Divine revelation, man-made traditions, opinions of clergymen and religious councils. , in Islam acts of worship such as prayer and fasting have been described by God and His Prophet in such detail that it gives human beings a feeling of assurance that the way they are worshipping God is pleasing to Him.

In other religions, even the ones which claim belief in "One God", people often approach God through an intermediary, such as a saint, an angel, the Virgin Mary or Jesus. However, it is only in Islam that a person is required only to pray to God

in Islam there are no priests or clergy -- each worshipper, man or woman, has a direct relationship with their Merciful Creator -- Almighty God. Since God is the Owner and Sustainer of everything, as well as the only one who can provide true and complete forgiveness, it is completely futile to try to approach Him through anyone else.

I have never questioned Islam, I know exactly what they stand for & that is why I stay away from it, & I am not one bit interested in it, I found what I was needing in 1970 before I really heard about islam, or may I say in 1970 God is the one that found me. Because I was the one that was lost, not God.

Because it is so misunderstood and so many miscommunications about Islam I think people just want to get down to the real truth.

Because they're in the news all the time, although I'll admit we are turning them into the "new communist mennace" since the old one vanished!

You can divide into two camps. Those who sympathize or buy into their propaganda

Those who sympatheize or buy into OUR propaganda.
