I've tried twice with debit card last month and once this month by internet banking.

every month I have the same problem, I pay through my bank account and do a direct transfer which takes 3 days to clear, I do this at least a week and a half before I am due to pay m y bill, and every month I get a text, your bill was due today please pay, and every month I get a late payment charge.
I have contacted my bank and vanquis, and the both blame each other, they are a nightmare!!!
Good luck if you manage to pay with no problems next time, let me know your secret

I have "heard" that vanquis are in big financial trouble right now. Better phoning them up and paying over the phone.

Yes though be careful, I paid via internet banking and it didnt work - so I rang up and paid over the phone.
Guess what - both payments were taken!

well i don,t even get a statement from them..and then they charge me bank charges for late payment...a very naughty company indeed
