You don't say what kind of trouble you are in or how bad it is.
First off see your bank, they have people who specialise in helping you.
Do you have credit cards? A bank could offer you a loan to pay them off and then you pay them back over a set time with a manageable repayment plan.
Once the big stuff is sorted it is down to you to manage yourself. You need to look at your incomings and outgoings and set yourself a weekly budget with what is left and stick to it, cut your spending. I calculate my budget at just less than the left over so there is some money building up to save or in my case pay back an overdraft.
It is hard but not impossible. There is no shame in asking a bank for help with this, they deal with the same situation every day. Good luck.

You didn't say what you need help with. I can assure you one of the mistakes people make is not keeping a balance in their bank account. Check fees and fines can really devastate an account already on the edge of collapse.
Another area is stop spending pay down your credit cards. Interest rates are so high that a good deal sometimes has a way of ending up as a venture you don't need if it sets you back from paying down the card.

Usually it's the small stuff we buy that causes us to get into financial trouble...such as a cup of coffee, a bottle of soda, a pack of cigarettes, eating out, junk food, a pack of gum, magazine, newspaper, lottery tickets, etc. Done on a frequent basis, these can drain hundreds of dollars from your income each month--money that could be used to pay down debt and/or start a savings account. Once you cut down on these types of items, use the money you save to pay down the debt with the highest interest rate first--such as credit cards. Also, call your creditors and explain your situation. They might be willing to reduce your interest rate if it means they will be receiving some sort of payment toward your debt versus nothing at all. Good Luck!

Spend less. If you can't keep up the payments on your credit cards or overdraught talk to the bank to sort out affordable repayments. Don't ignore them, they won't go away on their own.

See a financial consultant. If you can't afford to, ask at the bank where you have accounts.
