There is a pill to block the "high" from alcohol. You can go to www.soberrecovery.com and talk to some of the people there about that. Good Luck!!

no patch but there is a pill called an-abuse, it is taken daily and when you take a drink of alcohol you become violently sick, you have to have a complete check up before beginning the pill and it must be taken daily. Some people that get arrested for DUI's will have to be on this program, but they must report to the police station every night and be watched taking the pill, my brother/law had to do this and he just wanted to see what would happen if he took a drink, he found out when he started vomiting blood. I am sure the patch is in the making.

I read a news article that said the anti-seizure medication Topamax has been found to be effective in reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms but I'm not sure if it is approved by the FDA yet...
