Not trying to insult anyone but there has been some issues about our Muslim community creating huge messes in our parks and public washroom... or not using the washrooms at all and doing their business in the bushes or side of buildings. I am not making this up. Some beaches had to be closed due to this as well as public rest areas. Why do they feel it is appropriate to do this? I do not want to generalize I just want to understand why they would think this is ok to do. And how does one be politically correct and tell them its not ok that they should clean up after themselves at the park and use the restroom appropriately?

How do you know they are muslims? Those who 'did not use the washroom', so how did anyone find out the religion of this guy who was doing his 'business' outside? Was it written on his back? Was he arrested & produced before a court of law where he 'confessed' to his crime as well as name his religion which 'taught' him to do this? Can we have the url to that site?

Really, the length to which people go to try & discredit Islam & Muslims. It is really shameful.

I am not islamic but I have lived in Saudi Arabia and part of living there is to understand Islam. Admittedly as a Christian I can not truly understand, but the honor lies in the effort. Before prayers Muslims are required to clense themselves. They do use water and they do use what water sources they can find. Many times they can only find this in restrooms. Mostly this is ceremonial, but that does sometimes envolve a "mess". Usually its the arms to the elbows and feet to the knees. It is done strictly out of religious conviction. When I go to the gym and work out, I often find the sinks and vanities wet and messy. I would hazard a guess and say that this mess was not out of religious conviction, but by someone who is messy. Not much diff. Way before westerners of european descent had even thought of personal hygeine muslims were bathing and cleaning themselves regularly. They when they can and with limited resources are emphatic about cleanliness. A dilema exists in the middle east (center of the Islamic world), water has been for years a scarce and a precious resource - to them it is life itself and to refuse water to anyone to include ones enemy is distained. They do the best they can to accomodate cleanliness and drinking. As far as using the outside "bushes" I believe this to be malisious rumor created by zenophobic bigots. This world is small and we must all tolerate each other, especially those sacried religous convictions that make one whole. Do not hate Islam, hate the haters. I can only thank those Islamic brothers/sisters of the book, who tolerated my religious(Christian) practices while stationed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Come on! Really... you're making this nonsense up. I mean who believes these things, cite a URL or an article or something, don't just go making stuff up to make people hate Islam and Muslims

I mean really... shitting in the Park! There are so many lies that are made up about Muslims these days, but lies about the way they sh*t! you've taken BS to a whole new level here!

ok...first i would like to say this:

Muslims and Islam are not words to describe people from the middle east. (I am Muslim and practice Islam...I'm whiter than the whitest white girl!)

Have you seen this with your own eyes or are people stereotyping AGAIN?

I'm almost positive that people are not pooping in the bushes...well, maybe a drunk person...but hey, who hasn't pooped in the bushes when they were drunk....

all i'm saying is don't believe everything you hear...do some research!

take care!
